Cons

Heavy, expensive, hard to transport especially if battery dies on trail, depending on weight of rider battery life is from 7-9 miles, power chair decreases independence for manual wheelchair users, excessive exposure to moisture could ruin the battery

Maintenance: Requires mechanic to remove tracks and clean yearly

Transfers: Lift systems are recommended for organizations assisting with transfers depending on the users ability to transfer independently.
