The Grit Freedom Chair

Grit Freedom chair is a manual all-terrain wheelchair with arm levers for self propulsion. Additional adaptability available for purchase include: tip bars, foot strap, trunk support band, side guards, steering pegs, leg elevation, rope mount

Additional Information

Pros

Good option for manual wheelchair users to maintain independence with access to nature, user can be pushed if required


Cons

Difficult to climb in vegetation growth, requires bilateral arm and trunk control


Maintenance:

Recommend an overall inspection before every ride, maintain tire pressure, and follow maintenance schedule outlined in the user manual


Transfers: Lift systems are recommended for organizations assisting with transfers depending on the users ability to transfer independently.
